Tanghulu is a traditional snack from china. It is prepared by coating fruits with hardened sugar syrup. The fruits are put on bamboo skewers. Traditionally, Chinese hawthorn is used to make tanghulu but nowadays, it is prepared with strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, oranges, grapes, kiwi fruits etc.
