Kimchi is a traditional dish from Korea. It is prepared with salted-fermented vegetables such as korean radish or napa cabbage. Seasonings like spring onions, ginger, garlic, gochugaru and liquid jeotgal are used. Gochugaru is basically Korean chili powder and liquid jeotgal is salted seafood sauce. Kimchi is not eaten as a meal but as a side dish. People all around the world recognize Kimchi as spicy fermented cabbage.
