Tiropita is a Greek dessert. It is a pastry prepared by layering buttered phyllo. Phyllo is basically a thin dough which is layered and baked to prepare pastry. Tiropita is filled with a mixture of cheese and egg. When it is filled with spinach and cheese then, it is called Spanakotiropita. Kasseropita is another variation of Tiropita where kasseri cheese is used in filling.
